Having worked as a self-employed entrepreneur my entire adult life, I started in the construction trade in 1987. Early on I specialized as a journeyman carpenter and master cabinetmaker specializing in interior build-outs through the earlier ’90s and into this new decade. As my skill set grew, the clientele base expanded and niche areas were identified.
Over the last 18 years I have acquired experience in several areas of residential and commercial new construction; including ground-up build projects, renovations, interior and exterior build outs, foundations and concrete related projects. Recognizing an increasing demand for earthquake, structural and foundational services in Southern California, particularly with our close proximity to the San Andreas fault line, I focused efforts in steel & concrete in 2010.
Offering full-service design-build engineering and construction, today our company focuses on Los Angeles foundation repair services with a specialized emphasis on earthquake retrofitting. Branden
lead Structural Assessor and

Branden is the lead Structural Assessor and lead Structural Consultant for LA Structural. He began his interest in the construction field in high school when he started taking classes for structural drafting and design, and worked in the construction field during the summers.
After graduating, he continued his education at California Polytechnic State University: San Luis Obispo, where he pursued a major in "Architectural Engineering" and completed his education with a degree in "Structural Engineering." After graduating, Branden obtained his EIT license from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists with a focus on Civil and Structural Engineering. After working for several years in engineering, he transitioned to the structural assessment field where he currently oversees the design and assessment of structural issues for LA Structural.
Juan Casillas is the Engineering Supervisor at LA Structural, Inc., bringing over 30 years of structural drafting experience. His expertise spans a wide variety of projects, including high-rise buildings and seismic retrofitting.
In his role, Juan manages the submission process and coordinates with cities across Southern California, primarily within Los Angeles County. He places a strong emphasis on maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the permitting process to ensure smooth project execution.
